Crochet Ghost Walking Dog Amigurumi Pattern

İçindekiler
This adorable ghost walking a ghostf dog statue that can be found at Homesense and Marshalls has taken the internet by storm this summer as people get ready for Halloween decorations.

This charming duo has captured the hearts with their spooky yet endearing appeal and because of the Internet’s ability to make anything viral these days, they are SOLD OUT everywhere. You’ll likely find resellers trying to hike up the prices on Internet marketplaces.
However, with this easy-to-follow free crochet pattern, you can make a miniature version of this viral sensation. This crochet pattern is quick and fun and it’s perfect for both seasoned crocheters and beginners.
I made this piece using Scheepjes Glow Cup yarn so it boasts a mesmerizing glow-in-the-dark feature. Imagine the enchanting sight of these ghostly friends illuminating your space after a day of absorbing light. It adds an extra fun layer of spookiness to your creation!

To achieve the best glow, expose the yarn and/or your finished amigurumi to bright light for approximately 30 seconds before turning off the lights. Watch as the ghost and its dog come to life with a soft, ethereal glow that will captivate everyone’s attention.

If you don’t have the listed yarn on hand, don’t worry. Because this project is made using one yarn weight without mixing various yarns together, you can substitute it with a different yarn weight/category (along with the appropriate hook size) to make it bigger/smaller.

Not only is this project fun, but it also makes a fantastic Halloween decoration. Display your finished amigurumi on your mantelpiece, bookshelf, or anywhere you want to add a touch of spooky charm.
So gather your crochet hooks and yarn, and a touch of Halloween spirit. This charming amigurumi is sure to become a cherished addition to your collection and a conversation starter among your friends and family!

Notes
- This pattern is written in US crochet terms.
- I made this amigurumi doll using the “Yarn Under Single Crochet” technique. This technique makes the stitches tighter and appears more aligned.
- Use the ultimate finish method to close up the amigurumi after filling it with polyester stuffing.
- Use the invisible fasten-off method to neatly finish the skirts before weaving in the ends.
- Crochet in continuous spiral rounds. Do not join at the end of each round unless otherwise stated. Use a running stitch marker to keep your place when crocheting in rounds.
- Optional: Use the invisible increase and invisible decrease for a nicer finish.
- Change to a different yarn weight/category and appropriate hook size for this project to make it bigger/smaller.
